Besides being your friendly neighborhood digital designer, I'm also an artist. I like to dive into the more traditional world of art where I play with acrylics, watercolors, ink, charcoal, and pencils.

Even though it's not my bread and butter, I jump at any chance to flex those creative muscles. That's why I often find myself taking on commission pieces – think hand-painted sneakers and denim jackets becoming wearable works of art. It's like giving everyday items a splash of creativity and a touch of uniqueness.

 

One highlight from 2020 was illustrating the amazing NHL player Dillon Dube for the Calgary Flames. My illustration was used on T-shirts and is sold online and in-store in Canada, with a portion of the sales going straight to charity. Why not spread creativity and kindness at the same time, right?
